Caroline and Jonathan welcomed their third baby during a pandemic and the isolation that came with that time. Tragically, Jonathan’s sister had been killed by a drunk driver just before their baby was due to arrive.

It was not an easy time for this precious family.

But babies can bring a miracle even in the midst of mourning. Birth can bring joy even in the depths of grief.

This birth had a Lizzo dance party and so much love and laughter.
