I had my baby boy 3 weeks early. I kept telling everyone he was coming early but the day after Halloween was not the day I expected!
Water broke at 530 am.
I took about 6 baths in between this time and 2 pm. I had a lot of contraction feelings in my legs that were the most painful.
I called my doula a few times and she was listening to my breathing. She kept reminding me I was probably in early labor by the way I sounded. Come to find out I was way farther along than we thought.
At 2 pm, my gut said let’s go to the hospital.
Got to the hospital and there were no triage rooms available so I labored in a waiting room. Before 2 pm, 36 babies were born and they were slammed!
Finally got into triage and was 8/9cm already.
Quickly brought me into the tub. Worst part about labor to me was how overheated I was and sweating. Plus the tub was SO hot feeling but in a good way.
Baby Nash was born by 5:28 pm.

Overall, very very quick labor- under 12 hours. Waterbirth was amazing!
Nurses, my doula, and midwives laughed that I was a silent laborer, and they don’t come across this on a regular basis- I didn’t say much the whole time I just kept closing my eyes and breathing.
He was a little peanut- 5 lbs 13oz
